I followed the Rodeo for over a year with three other photographers. We received accreditation allowing us to go into the ring. I was fascinated by the Cowboys, their rituals and the risks they took. I traveled from Dawson Creek to Palm Springs making portraits and action photographs. The rodeo is a connection with the early years of the opening up of the West.
